For all this ruckus about a third runway at heathrow, everytime I fly out of here all I see are rows and rows of closed gates. Not sure if they really need the runway or if that’s why all the gates are closed.

What I love about train stations
Is not the imminent feeling of far flung travels. A) no one is really going that far away on the train these days and b) that’s too clichĂ©. No, what I love is how busy they are, chockablock full of people who are either in a massive rush or no hurry at all, and the remarkable thing is that all of these people, myself included are always looking every which way, including up, but the way the...

Shrove Tuesday →
My agnostic boyfriend asked me if I’d like to have pancakes tonight. I asked him if he even knew why it was Pancake Day, and then realized I didn’t know the origin either. I knew it was Shrove Tuesday, but that is about all I was able to recall from Sunday school.
I am more interested in a pancake race than just eating pancakes!
I have decided to remove my twitter feed from here because this was in danger of becoming just a repeat of my tweets with a few pictures thrown in. I am beginning to think that instead of universally linking all my online interactions together, it may be better to keep some of them separate so they can stay true to their intended purpose. This may also encourage me to write a little bit more.
